Buildnix is a freelance and multi-vendor marketplace where you can hire talent for services or sell your own services to buyers around the world. Everything from messaging to payments lives in one place.
Getting started How do I create an account?
Click "Sign up" in the top right, choose an email and password, and verify your email. You can browse and post a brief immediately, and start selling as soon as your first listing is published.
Getting started Do I need to choose between buying or selling?
No. Every Buildnix account can both buy and sell. Switch between your buyer dashboard and your seller listings any time from the sidebar.
Buying on Buildnix How do I find the right seller?
Use the search bar at the top of the site to filter by products, services, jobs, or vendors. Sort by popularity or newest, and read reviews on each profile before you book.
Buying on Buildnix Can I message a seller before I order?
Yes. Open any listing and use the "Message seller" button. You can clarify scope, share references, and agree on a delivery date before placing an order.
Buying on Buildnix What if the work isn't what I expected?
You can request revisions within the order, or open a dispute if you and the seller can't reach an agreement. Our support team will review the conversation and order history before deciding.
Selling on Buildnix How do I create my first listing?
From your dashboard, click "Create a listing". Add a clear title, description, cover image, and at least one pricing tier. Listings with at least three images and three tiers tend to convert best.
Selling on Buildnix How are listings ranked in search?
Ranking factors include keyword match, completion rate, average rating, response time, and how recently the listing was updated. Keep your portfolio fresh and reply quickly to climb results.
Selling on Buildnix Can I offer custom packages?
Yes. You can send a buyer a custom offer from any conversation. Custom offers can override price, delivery date, and revision count for that order only.
Orders & delivery What are the stages of an order?
Orders move through Placed, Accepted, In progress, Delivered, and Completed. If something goes wrong, an order can also move to Disputed, where support takes over.
Orders & delivery When does an order auto-complete?
After a seller delivers, the buyer has 3 days to accept or request revisions. If no action is taken, the order auto-completes and funds release to the seller.
Orders & delivery Can I cancel an order after it's accepted?
Both sides can request a cancellation from the order page. If the other party agrees, the order is cancelled and the buyer is refunded. If they don't agree, you can escalate to support.
Payments & payouts When do I get paid as a seller?
Funds clear to your Buildnix balance once the order is marked Completed. From there, payouts go to your connected Stripe account on your chosen schedule (default: weekly).
Payments & payouts What fees does Buildnix charge?
Buildnix takes a flat platform fee on each completed order. The fee is shown on the order summary before you check out, so there are no surprises at payout.
Payments & payouts Which payment methods are supported?
We accept all major credit and debit cards via Stripe, plus regional methods that Stripe enables in your country. Cryptocurrency is not currently supported.
Account & security How do I turn on two-factor authentication?
Open Settings → Security, then click "Enable two-factor auth". Scan the QR code with an authenticator app and save the recovery codes somewhere safe.
Account & security How do I change my email or password?
Both live in Settings → Profile and Settings → Security. Changing your email triggers a fresh verification link, and changing your password logs out all other sessions.
Account & security How do I delete my account?
You can delete your account from Settings → Profile. Active orders must be completed or cancelled first, and any pending payouts will be released before the account is closed.
